The Rebel

"I proclaim that I believe in nothing and that everything is absurd, but I cannot doubt the validity of my own proclamation and I am compelled to believe, at least, in my own protest. The first, and only, datum that is furnished me, within absurdist experience, is rebellion. Stripped of all knowledge, driven to commit murder or consent to it, I possess this datum which gains greater strength from the anguish that I suffer. Rebellion arises from the spectacle of the irrational coupled with an unjust and incomprehensible condition. But its blind impetus clamours for order in the midst of chaos, and for unity in the very heart of the ephemeral. It protests, it demands, it insists that the outrage come to an end, that there be built upon rock what until now was written unceasingly upon the waters." - Albert Camus.

Car Park Cool

I came across Axel Peemoller via the good people over at Frank151. (shout out to Justin)

He is a heavy designer and I'm really feeling a lot of his work, his site is doing alot for me and I really like how he's put together his page, check him out here.

A project that he's recently curated in a Melborne Car Park is particularly inspiring. When we are exposed to so many notices, signs and directions everyday in the city, it is always refreshing to see someone take a truly mundane but practical notice and flip it. A lot is to be said of a well signed car park! The amount of times i've acknowledged losing the whip in a multi-story is pathetic!

Trading Places @ Sketch

On saturday night I reached Sketch for the second installment of Trading Places. Masterminded by two of the leading blogs on London's creative scene; ATCN and TMI so shout out to Kish, A-Cyde, Biz and all the crew who helped put on a wicked night in an amazing venue.

Roadblock.

Rolled up with my mate Adam and we had to give Fats some much deserved props, a legend in the game.

A-Cyde & Biz handled their business on the ones & twos.

It was a wicked night. Shout out to Kish for the hook up.
