Going Underground

London's Abandoned Tube Stations.

Stumbled across this site through the comments on Blackdown's blog. It's all about abandoned Underground Stations, pretty interesting. Since my move into East London i've become increasingly fascinated with the history of London, this is quite a cool place to start. While trawling through the pictures on the site I saw a lot of TOX 03, mainly on the King's Cross images. Is there anywhere this guy hasn't been in London?

London Frontline

Mr P & Mighty Mo brighten up the streets of London.

Check out London Frontline, it's alot.

Ghettz & Griminal

"Watch, as I combine all the juice from the mind, Heel up, wheel up, bring it back, come rewind"

Busta is a legend in the game, although I'm not feeling much of his recent offerings (I think Arab Money is straight up wack) he is a phenomenal MC and his longevity is testament to his skills on the mic. From Leaders Of The New School to a dreadless Busta, he's spat some of the heaviest verses in rap over the years. Check tout this interview he recently had with The Fader, classic story action on how he used to make that money stack high. A lot of MC's should take note of this sly angle.

Although Arab Money is rubbish and really signifies how much Busta has fallen off, I think one of the most slept on tunes of last year was 'Don't Touch Me'. It's classic Busta in full effect. I love the lyric "The King Kong, Big Foot, Gully with a Skully" - that whole break down makes the track for me. Plus the video below is just classic Busta! The camera angles, the crazy head-gear and outfits etc!

'Scenario' is possibly my favorite rap record of all time and Busta supplies the killer verse!

Gucci Mane

THE REALNESS - Gucci Mane & Juiceman

For all those who are feeling Gucci Mane check out this heavy mixtape put together by J.Exclusivo. Entitled 'The Documentary' this tape is a compilation of Gucci's best tracks to date and inspired by the footage of Gucci on DVDs, You Tube, Street Interviews etc. I'm looking forward to Gucci's release from prison, I think he's going to capitalize on the heat he has right now on the streets and come strong with some bangers, Hip Hop needs him to, thats for sure.

Pill - '4180:The Prescription Mixtape'

My man Derek is working real hard right now in the ATL, he's set up his own label, pushing one of the Grind Time Rap Gang's sickest talents. This mixtape is heavy, and has received a ringing endorsement from the South's premier rap publication O-Zone magazine, this is the rise of one of Atlanta's sickest underground rappers. Previously known as Gangster Pill, Pill has featured on Killer Mike's albums and is steeped in street credibility. This is for those that like that real lyrical, Southern Gangster Rap. Except no substitutes.
